File Format
Canvasbay uploader accepts JPG files, if you wish to send raw images or another file type you may upload a .jpg version and send the original/raw file to us via email, dropbox or wetransfer using the email canvasbay@gmail.com you can also indicate this on the checkout comments section.

Uploaded files should ideally be 300 DPI, 8-bit, and have an embedded sRGB colour profile. If you don’t know what any of that means, then just leave it to us! Your image files will, of course, be automatically checked as to whether or not they are suitable for what you’re ordering, and then they will be produced in the highest quality.

File size
Your image will be ideally at least 0.3 megapixel, The largest possible print size will be calculated based on the pixel size. The larger you would like to have your work produced, the greater the number of pixels must be.

ICC profiles
The goal of a consistently deployed colour management system is to ensure the most authentic reproduction of an image possible, using any printing device.

For our canvas profile please email us however you do not need to worry about the profiles as we do all this for you.

We constanly calibrate and profile our printers every media change on each of our printers.

Border sizes are 20mm and 45mm.

When sizing your images for the two border sizes please be sure to include the following bleed if using normal border (if using any other border please do not add the border bleed).

20mm Border - 1.8" added onto both the width and height of the required canvas size.

45mm Border - 3.6" added onto both the width and height of the required canvas size.

i.e an    20”   x 16” canvas, the image should be...
20mm - 21.8" x 17.8"
45mm - 23.6" x 19.6"

i.e an    20”   x 30” canvas, the image should be...
20mm - 21.8" x 31.8"
45mm - 23.6" x 33.6"
